I totallyyyyyyy get where you're coming ...GIRL. I totallyyyyyyy get where you're coming from. Before I turned 25, I seriously thought the quarter-life crisis thing was a bunch of bologna. But when I turned 25, I felt like I got a big slap in the face from reality. I was constantly freaking out, constantly thinking I was making the wrong choices, and generally, had NO freakin' idea what I was doing with my life. And I felt like nobody could relate because a majority of my friends were either way older or way younger.

And it's SUCH a scary feeling. But it's true, we're not really alone. I think we have such HIGH expectations for ourselves, especially when we're young and think we're going to be living such dream lives that aren't realistic at all. Life isn't like that. Unfortunately. I'm still waiting on the moment where I won't have to have a heart attack looking at my bank account every time the first of the month hits. lol

I think we all forget that we need to cut ourselves a little slack. We can be so hard on ourselves and expect SO much, when we're missing out on so much...and that the way our life is going is determined by timing and really, ourselves.

Okay. Now I've just rambled and went off on about 10 tangents. All in all, just hang in there, boo. I'm 27 and still don't know what's going on half the time. But i'm trying! And really, that's all we can do. Hang in there and make the best of things....and listen to Carrie Bradshaw. ;)Meredith @ It Needs More Sprinkleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04904625493193660876noreply@blogger.com
