completed!
counted my blessings cozied up to scary moviesNow that I've listed out all the things I've done, it doesn't seem so bad after all. And in my defense, I walked passed and peeked into an art exhibit down the street from me, watched tons of Sunday night football, and passed up on the stocking of candy corn because I'm trying not to eat my way into a new pants size. Some of my completed adventures are documented via posts on this blog (click links above), while some are pictures on Instagram. In the future, I plan to keep evidence of everything item that I complete and document it on my Instagram (Click here to be iG friends!).
made hot chocolate wore rich colored lipstick & polish
jogged on the pier watched Hocus Pocus (2x!)
decorated for fall wrote a chapter of a novel (this kinddaaa counts?)
watched the Village parade bought fall-scented candles
read 2 good books watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (on tv)
wore scarves cooked 3 new dishes (surely this counts!)
So, about that winter bucket list...
I thought to add "eat lots of candy canes" but, again, not trying to put items on the list that result in bigger jeans. Regardless, I'm sure I'll find my way to them as it's not winter to me without candy canes. Although winter isn't my favorite season, I really do like it. To me, it always carries memories of week- and sometimes month-long vacations, snow days from school, big puffy coats, sledding with my daddy, hot chocolate in wintery mugs, warm fuzzy mittens (which I couldn't stand as a child), my birthday, and of course, lots of festivities.
What do you look forward to most about winter?
I love your list! I'm thinking of making one myself. I should ask you though how you did that pretty design? Perhaps that should be the first on my list: learn how to make designs for my blog. :) Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
ReplyDeleteI'm so saddened by the fact that I live in a place with no winter (Florida). I love this bucket list! I still try to partake in wintery goodness even if I've never ever seen even a whisper of snow in my life!
ReplyDeleteFeel free to bake those holiday cookies and send them my way. Just looking out for your jean size ;) It's a big sacrifice on my part, I know.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your list!!!
ReplyDeleteI used a program called Gimp. You can download it easily. I'd love to see your list! Happy Holidays :)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine having never seen snow. I shall package some up for you :)
ReplyDeleteGood to know someone's looking out for me, even at her own expense :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
